Well it was bound to happen. High speed only right hand track (well only 3 tracks here anyway) that is very boring. Had got all his confidence yet, hadn't changed from street tyres (wanna get all out of em Shelle!). And he came a cropper.

He ended up with a severe concussion and fractured collarbone. Bike has an intact frame and subframe. Apparently it flipped a few times. He says he just lost traction coming off the straight into the first corner doing about 220km (136mph). Almost got run over by a friend!

All in all, he's doing good. Sling off yesterday. No surgery needed. Now I get to be his hands in fixing the bike - that's gonna be a lesson in patience!! ARG.

Joe wasn't very considerate, cause it put a spanner in the works for our ride outs with Lammy!!!

He's just trying to decide to make it a full track bike and pull out a heap of stuff, or still keep it road legal.

keep it road legal but it doesn't matter if it looks a bit tatty as track bikes often do

Bit of an extreme measure to take to avoid going on a rideout with me  lol! Was most grateful for the very kind loan of his one remaining complete bike though - and at least I got it back to him in one piece :D (although there was a very slight moment.....)

Glad to hear the sling is off. No dislocating his arm again though when he tells you how to wield that spanner on his bike ;). xx
