    Yup. the road tax runs out on the 31st so I won't be retaxing it.

    As it happened, I went to start it & altho' it'd been on the charger the night before it wouldn't start on the button. So i had to take the seat off, find the booster starter & start it that way. I've got a feeling the battery is on it's way out, but I won't bother to buy a new one until the new year/beginning of April when i'll retax it

    cooked even more of the electrics now I have no lights working at all :(
    The smell of burning makes me think too much power went through the cable making me think the rec / reg might be the issue and then trying to find the burnt wires to replace them after that :thumbsdown:


    Right I'm off bike shopping I need to buy two now :D

    Not my bike bits but a friend brought his bike parts round & used my grit blaster to clean them all up. Came up a treat.

    At least I got a crate of beer for letting him use my shed :rubhands:

    nice and loud then but which bike ? can't see it on the combi some how.

    Bought some new chain lube so used it to lube the dirt bike chain after adjusting it to the right tightness

    fitted a set of R&G paddock stand blobs so now I can at least do the basic on the bike again.

    And just as I was thinking... The Suns shining, roads dry a big gust of wind swept loudly across my garden( if wind can be loud ? The weather that is :eek:)
    So now im like ummmmmm maybe not :sun2:

    That the genuine Yamaha shim tool is useless & 5 shims need to be changed for some thinner ones :shrug:

    It was easier to rip the cams out
