LOL! Funny you should say that as I`ve baffled my mic & not Sues & the wind noise is still setting it off about 60-65 so its a LOT closer to the truth than you think :)

so to follow on from this , after much waiting I received the plastics back this weekend ( almost a year from the onset of the project ) and can now finally present the results of many hours of labour and the actual shedding of blood ....I give to you the Pan St1100 reborn

note....when someone says a friend is doing work for them at mates rates but it may involve a small delay ........don't hold your breath....the above project was originally estimated at 6 months including awaiting the respray of the plastics, unfortunately the bike sat idle and untouched for almost 6 months while the painter faffed about. the result?...... a totally knackered battery ( unrecoverable ) and pristine paint work complete with new decals.
once again I neglected to take full on before pictures but hopefully you can all see the work that has gone into it from the close up of previous postings.

I fitted some new bling to the Daytona. A pair of very sparkly valve caps. All my bikes have to have a bit of girly bling somewhere. I also have another set ready and waiting for the new bike, whatever it turns out to be :)

Well, it was yesterday but I did the only sensible thing I could think of to my bike, basically I thrashed the butt off the fireblade.

Accessengineer put a new tank pad and Stompgrip on the Daytona for me. All ready to take to the road again. Just need to fill the tank and ride it for a while. I can pull the clutch in without too much discomfort so I shall wait for a fine day, get all my new kit on (and I bet that's going to feel strange) and be brave.

Resoldered the wires going to the headlight. after one of the wires came apart . But forgot which spade connecter went where afterwards. So i'll have to wait until I start the engine again so as to check if i've got the high & low beam wires round the right way
