Oh no, they can't use their BlackBerrys....

Apparently the BlackBerry network is not working properly. And hasn't been for a while now. I reckon it's a virus spread by Steve Jobs from beyond the grave (no offence meant to him BTW, a great guy in my books.)

All these people literally spitting with rage and threatening to sue RIM and claim compensation from the mobile networks - all because they can't use their instant messaging, FB/Twitter and receive emails . Here's a few examples:-

As of this morning 9.02 on 12 October in London THIS IS STILL NOT WORKING. NO MESSENGER OF ANY SORT, NO EMAIL. i AM RECEIVING BUT NOTHING GETTING OUT FROM ME.
THIS SUCKS AND I DO HOPE I AM GETTING A REFUND OF MY DATA CHARGES FOR THIS MONTH!

this is disgrace, I have had no emails, internet acces, bbm twitter or facebook for 2 days now

Right, it's 11:24 and I'm not getting any blackberry service. Absolutely disgusting, I can't believe how much my life has been turned upside down, I am seriously considering throwing myself under the next train because I can't tweet about this ridiculous situation or facebook my friends with up to the minute information on this crisis.

Haven't they heard of a thing called a telephone?? You dial a number (or, like I do, talk the number to the phone) someone answers it by saying 'Hello' (or, in the case of my nephew 'WOT NOW?') and you speak to the person. It's a wonderful thing...

I think this one sums it up for me....

Go for a walk in the woods - go do some yoga - walk on the beach - read a book - get a grip everybody. if your life depends on a PDA you really need to take a long look in the mirror, take a deep breath and repeat three times: I REALLY MUST GET A LIFE.

We use BB in the office so people can pick up their e-mails etc when travelling, when you risk losing £££ because you're unable to communicate properly, it does start to become a serious issue.

 

my blackberry has been working fine.i dont use bb messenger and have been receiving emails fine.calls and tect work.

 

My (well, work's) BB has been fine too. Emails have come through in batches, but that's nothing new. Whilst I use mine for work, I really can't understand why people get so stressed about getting onto Twatter / FaceAche / BBM / emails - jeesh, get a life!

 

Probably all the incestuous chavs and 'jeremy Kyle' type scum bags that are cribbing.....
