    Hi Guys,

Long shot but does anyone have a DVCAM player and wouldn't mind helping me out?

I have a precious DVCAM tape that I would like to transfer to a file (MOV, WMV etc)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Neil

Would you be talking about a camcorder type thing? If so I have one that takes DVC (mini DV?) tape things, or don't people like jessops do a transfer to disk service?

Thanks guys but Mini DV and DVCAM are same technology but different tapes.

DVCAM was used by broadcasters (BBC etc) and MiniDV was the cost effective version sold to Joe Public.

I'm gonna struggle to find someone with a DVCAM player but thought it worth a shot as you never know...
