Apple Looking Towards Removing Speed Camara Apps From App Store

    This post is only related to Camera Alert, but I can assume it will apply to all apps that are speed camera warnings for Tomtom and Garmin etc.

    A post from Pocket GPS:-

    "If you planned to use CamerAlert on your iOS device then be quick and download it ASAP.

    Apple have decided that because speed camera detection is illegal in some countries where our app is available that they are removing it from sale in every country.

    We are obviously fighting this, but they are not being very forthcoming with information about which countries we can't offer it for or if we can even restore it later just for the UK...

    So, there's your warning"

    It is a free app to down load, once you have it they will not remove it from your appliance.

    Annoying, as this was one of the reasons I went Iphone, as the app was available long before they made an android version.
    Iphone also is the one thing that works with bluetooth so you can hear it through the Audio System in the Car and Van.
