    I am very sad to report that Nigel passed away this morning. Some of us were involved in the rideout not long ago and it was nice to see Nigel enjoying himself in a trike accompanied by about 130 bikes, trikes and scooters. Hoping that we can give him a good send off.

    At least he and his family got to see one of his wishes come to fruition. Terribly sad time now for them though. RIP Nigel

    Here's copies of notes on Facebook. Hopefully see some of you there next Friday?
    This is a copy of Jim Thompson's, Nigel's son, note on Facebook;
    "Hello everyone, Dad's funeral will be at 1230 on Friday the 21st of November at Hastings Crematorium on The Ridge, I will endeavour to find out exactly what time Dad will be leaving from A.C. Towner funeral directors in Norman Road, St Leonards, so that those of you who would like to escort Dad on his final ride are able to make arrangements. Thank you for your continued love and support ."

    I have spoken to the funeral directors and at the moment the sugestion is that we gather on the seafront on the Undercliff carpark by 1130, depending on numbers, move to Saxon street or the corner of Norman road and Warrior square at 1145 and move off with the funeral courtege at 1200, heading to Hastings. I understand that most people will be at work, but if you are off or can get time off, it would be a fantastic gesture for a wonderful family and a fitting send off on Nigel's last ride.
