I'm just popping down to Fast Lane in Tonbridge, so hopefully I can get to Wesson's to meet you all.

I did enjoy the planes, glad we stayed to watch the Lancasters. Thank you for fixing my visor Tom, it works perfectly again.

The Lancs were berthed at Biggin Hill for a couple of days and flew right over my house about 4 times, fantastic.
Particularly poignant for my wife and I as her Dad flew two tours of duty in them in WWII. And survived!

Watched them leave Biggin Hill - amazing to see and hear two flying together - they are located there I think along with the Red Arrows and the Typhoon.

Carried on down to Eastbourne - beautiful day and nice to get out on the unsold bike :giggle:

Wouldn't have liked to have gone there by car.

Last day tomorrow - well worth the trip - and its free.

Me and the Mrs went down to Eastbourne today, particularly to see the Lancasters and they were a no show as it was too windy and wet for take off at Biggin Hill. :( How my father-in-law would have laughed at that, "we're not going to send you on ops to get shot at tonight chaps as it's too dangerous to take off in this weather".

The Red Arrows were stunning though, such skill, such speed, so close, so low. Wow. Really good view from the beach.
