I might venture that way, just tried the final adjustment on the R6's clutch so need to see if it helps or makes it unrideable

 

and the answer was both

All started well it seamed I had solved the problem no clutch slip so started to push on to fully test it. Nice straight road so I could make sure and half way down I lost the clutch totally pulled off and hid down a side road to check it over. maybe went I put everything back together I should have done the cable up more than finger tight as it had worked loose and jumped out, me being me I had left my tools at home

Managed to get it back together finger tight again and got to the fish farm for breakfast, from there over to ringmer where I stopped again with no clutch
another job fiddling behind the fairing and I headed home where I have now tighten it enough hopefully. I even repaired my rear brake lights as I don't think those following me were that impressed while at it I put my tax disc in from August so only a little out of date. Then I headed out for another test ride and it feels okay

so lesson learnt when rushing a job make sure I carry my tool kit
