Have just got back from a week at Assen - what a brilliant circuit ............ All riders said the track was excellent. The circuit itself would knock spots off any UK ones --wishes people from Silverstone would take note and try and inject some soul into the most barren circuit that it is . Amazed how many rode and camped too. the return ferry (harwich) was litarlly every rider/team and bike spectator . #goodtimes :)

i will have to really think about going to this next year. having done the GP in czech i have to say i was stunned at the size of the track so seeing a few more would be interesting.

Tom even all the grandstands were free (NOT that I am a grandstand person) but was nice to sit in comfort on race day at start finihs straight - and NOT feel compelled to sit their all day to justify a price. Where they had Hospitality too - for example the room we had at Brands.. , at Assen public are allowed to walk along those corridors and the WHOLE roof area is a public spectators view - the place was NOT buzzing with Stewards , saying you not allowed etc . only unacessable <sp place was Pit lane - BUT. I done a VIP Grid walk at race two -- was on Eursport Sunday but not on ITV tonight but my mate was. Cant put into words what a brilliant time and experience it was. Oh and we went into a red light area in a place called Gronengen, one night --- another eyeopener lol. Twas a 2 hr drive from here to Harwich and a 2 half hr ish -if that - the other side and their roads are bloody awesome to ! (square tyres on a bike though lol)
