Brands track day for the brave.

I know a few of you have met Bill, my brother, suffering from cancer. Main label .. Biker to the last. He has now only got a month left. His 3 boys bought him a Fathers day pressie of a day at Brands, we got his bike there Monday and 'Shakey' turned up to say Ello and drive the lap car. He never made it to the track he was too weak. The Photo's show how enjoyed. Good on yer mate!

Great pics, Pat, especially with Shakey. I'm really sorry to hear that the news about Bill isn't positive, but I'm pleased to have met him, albeit briefly at Lenham, when he was able to ride his bike. It's such a cruel disease.

 

Yeah Richard was his last ride-out, took so much out of him he had to go to hospital for a couple of days. Dr. reckons he may have another month, gotta admire the bloke he keeps on keeping on!

 

Ya got me sat here in tears now Pat. Wish I'd got the chance to meet him.

 

Hi Alan, thought about you today, have not been aridin for awhile, hope you are okay Buddy.
Shame you did not meet Bill, he's getting past going out now, it took all his energy and ours to get him and the bike to Brands.
It was worth it, we are off to Germany Sunday and we are hoping to see him when we get back. Gotta one way ticket out so we can turnabout if the worst happens. Bill assures me it won't.
You're doing my service you basteward and I'll wait until you are back. We told him in that case we'll take a month.
