Anyone know of a supplier of the above, Sealey to be exact and preferably with an imagination so I can describe the part to them.

A bit fell off the one I have and now I can't weld up the last 2" on my subframe

Yep, this bit - it's fallen apart. The welder is kind of old.

What about ringing a supplier up and saying "yeah I need that part that falls off easily please"...

That's exactly what I was asking for a number of a parts supplier for ;)

I did spend a while hunting through the manuals online and various parts stores (none of which have a picture of said parts, unhelpfully) but it appears it's not a part in itself as far as is listed normally.

Cheers Jim, that was much the same as I found except I didn't get a part number. I have a suspicion it's only sold as part of the feeder unit, but will keep looking.

Can you let me know the model and as much information as possible about the welder, we have a Sealey rep who comes to the shop every now and then, can ask him.

The plastic parts go brittle over time and just fall apart.

P.S You can't just buy the top plate, you'll have to get the whole wire feed unit unfortunately.

P.P.S alternative is to junk the current feed setup, and perhaps if possible upgrade it to a euro torch setup, bit more money but loads better.

I'll get the model details tomorrow, dude. Cheers.

This looks very much like it's gone brittle and fallen apart - I really didn't help it along at all.

The rest, I have no idea what a euro torch is unless it's that big burning thing that got passed about before the Olympics...
