Well, she's finally up and running. Alarm/immobiliser removed, (thanks to the info that ro06k5 posted on this forum!) exhaust and new battery fitted. New fuel in, and started almost straight away, having not run for over a year! I need to get some rubber under the silencer exhaust brackets, and do final alignments on the pipes, but she's ready to roll. I definitely need to get smaller indicators now though, so they miss the silencers!! I know the setup won't be to everyone's liking, but I like it, as it's different!! [IMG]

Just wondering mate, how do you cope with the 35mph speed limit over there? Sure we have low speed limits over here but its not a blanket one like you have? You go beach racing or do the "Val de Terres hill climb" to alleviate the need for speed?

No, we just give it a bit of a blast and hope not to get caught!!
To be honest, the roads are challenging enough without going too quick - a combination of bad cage drivers, appalling road surfaces, shiny drain lids on corners and random piles of horse crap tend to focus the mind!

I`ve been to Guernsey many times (had a friend live there) so know the roads are "Interesting" especially some of the ones with stone walls both sides :)
