The Grumpy Genie

Whilst walking along the beach in Brighton, a man trips over a Genie Lamp and thinking “why not?”, gives it a rub…

“Poooof” – Out comes the “Grumpy Genie”.

“I’m fed up with this “three wishes” rubbish – you can have just one, so think carefully”, the Grumpy Genie Says.

“Well, I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii, but I hate flying. Please build me a bridge from here to Hawaii, so I can drive there instead?”

“Do you have ANY idea, what a logistical nightmare that would be? It’s never been done before, I’d need Architects, Construction Teams, Steels, Tarmac, Piles, Electricians, Government Agencies and many more besides. No, it’s ridiculous – I’m not doing it. You’ll have to think of something else – something sensible”.

“OK. How about this. I’ve had three failed marriages and when I’ve analysed them all with my Therapist, I’ve come to realise, that they all failed because I didn’t truly understand any of my women that I was married too. Please make it possible for me to fully understand women.”
