    Thanks for spending the day, helping me service my bike!! She's certainly feels smoother to ride! I'll pop back in a couple of weeks and we'll do the brakes, and other bits... Hopefully we won't have any more disasters!!!!!

    Let me just say if anyone manages to strip the thread off a new spark plug when tightening it up there's only one man you need to ring! Alan - You're the fucking man! I couldn't believe it when that plug came out, minus the thread! I couldn't believe it again when just over an hour later the thread came out!!!:thumbsup:

    Lucky indeed. I'd have thought plug thread was always harder than head metal in modern engines.

    Brand new, clean plug going in. Sealing washer only just crushed and not overtightened.
