Who's out for a blast tomorrow (Sunday)? The weather looks good and I've got a squared-off rear tyre that needs killing.

I will be driving over to Walton on Thames (from Tunbridge Wells) in connection with work; I have to drop off some documents, persuade recalcitrant partner to sign and ride home again. Don't know timings, (depends when he gets out of bed and how long it'll take me to get him to sign) but I plan to go west from TW towards Gatwick, up the M-23; west on the M-25 to J-9, thence to Walton via Oxshot and Esher. Then I'll reverse the route. Pretty boring route, I'm afraid, but the documents will be exciting (I hope). And I'll be on two wheels! :disco:

I'll happily post up the TWells departure time (when I know it) in case somebody would like to be shown the way (yes, it's me writing this ;)).

In the end my T/Wells departure was delayed by several factors, none of which are especially enjoyable. I didn't get a chance to post it up, I'm afraid. Sorry and all that. I did go by bike (hooray) but traffic was heavy, there were a number of people piloting similar bikes to mine at 3 figure speeds and attracting unwanted attention from 'Er Majesty's constabulary. I was trying to look invisible and utterly innocent.

    Back to work now :-(

Should have looked out for you on way home today Panel Man. I went up to Reading yesterday and blatted back today, M3, M25. Always great fun when hit the A21 and get some twisties in after the motorways :D. Especially as managed to hit a relatively quiet time so got to play! Perfect biking weather for sure!

I really like that turning off the M-25 on to the A-21: it goes on and on and on... it's reasonably smooth although it does tighten . The number of cars you can overtake quite safely... ;).

I've just thought of a thread title...

I went to Rye and bumped into Sporty Kev and Lost. Then Paul, Dawn, Michaela and Megan showed up. We had a blast over to Laguna Maidstone then I went on to Herne Bay. 145 miles later, I'm back home knackered!!:)

Our country ride was nice and steady. Some great new roads and some fun little twisties. No idea where and I'll probably never find them again, but fun all the same.

I did however feel like the ugly duckling whilst out with Hoppie & Hanna's new rides :(.
