Rye area road resurfacing.

    Highways Agency statement A259 Resurfacing

    Rye to Guldeford part 1 (between Camber Road and Fishmarket Roundabout)
    Works are to be carried out from Monday 30 January for 2 weeks.

    Winchelsea to Rye
    Works to be carried out under night time off-peak traffic signals from Monday 13 February for 2 weeks. There will then be a two-week break in works whilst the road closure detailed below takes place, and completion works will follow the closure.

    Rye to Guldeford part 2 (between Camber Road and Guldeford Level Crossing) and Woolpack Corner to Brookland

    Works to be carried out under a full road closure between Brenzett Roundabout and Camber Road from Sunday 26 February for 2 weeks, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The diversion route for eastbound traffic will be via Camber Road, Lydd Road, Jury's Gap, Jury's Gap Road, to Lydd Manor Road/Station Road/Romney Road, to re-join the A259 west of New Romney Westbound traffic will use the same route in reverse.
