Eeeeeeeek,, Had a big scare today, lost the front on a roundabout.:poop: :poop:

Must have slid a good 5 inches then gripped, the bike did a snakey, sqwerly type lefty-righty thing before coming under control. :poop: :poop::poop::poop: bet i looked cool..

Wasn't going mad, roads were dry, (ive done it faster with no drama's), so must've been a little damp or more likely diesel. Just wanted to relate my adrenaline fix for the day and remind people to take care...

In East Sussex, nearing Eastbourne, i was on the A22 heading South.

Roundabouts are the worst places. Usually tighter than average curves, so more chancew of diesel, petrol and chemical spills. Best to traight line em if you can?

I think there is also a narrow tarmac groove/trench in the road about where the front slid, but that alone wouldnt have done it. Was approx about 09:50 (if it were a clock)
    X marks the spot..

Just got home after dropping the wife off and looks like they have already started gritting the roads as the forecast is cold and frosty tonight. Glad you kept it upright Kev! Works the old buttock clenching though!

I know where you mean, go that way all the time.
Glad you merely had an adrenaline rush rather than a close encounter with the tarmac
