    Remind me to slap you when I see you next :-P Of course I do, its impossible to not lock it on because it doesnt sit flush otherwise and after having lost my cowl, I would pull and pull to see if it would shift, there is definitely something dodge about the lock that it wiggles loose.

    Was just an option to avoid losing more seat cowls as I know you're adverse to pillions, a single seat unit would give a cleaner line and eliminate the problem.

    Can have a fiddle with your mechanism (ahem) at some point.
