Many people now have one or more bikes, do you insure them individually or is someone using a multi bike policy ?

I do not use multi bike policy, as generally insurers will not insure due to total value of bikes. Also some insurers will not duplicate no claims bonus, so you only still getting no claims bonus on one bike.

I have tried to go multi, as well. But my agent told me to go separately.

I go Multi. I am with BMW/Devitts - They insure the most expensive bike and then tag on a little for each bike. I did separate for my track bike for a while just for 3rd party F&T and also build up a seperate NCB, but it was almost no difference and I have it fully Comp now...on occasion it does make it on to the road with a daytime mot. I got quotes separately and in various combinations but Multi worked out best for me.

I am with Devitts, atm, I will not be using them again, they wanted £125.00 to cancel on a £190.00 policy, I refused, and in the end it cost me £50, that was with 6 months left on the policy, £15.00 for a green card.

What a scam, had my insurance renewal come through phoned them to cancel it and they admitted they don’t look for the best price cos they don’t have time they leave you under the same underwriter unless you call up then they can offer you a quote £100 less under a different underwriter because your like a new customer again !! What a farce ....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: 40 minute call too :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I always check the comparison sites as quite often you can get it way cheaper, even with the same company.
