Dismantled the Cartridge Fork Emulators that I had fitted to the Exup front forks a few years ago & found a design fault, which, now that it's fixed should make the device work correctly.

Friday rode down to Porlock in Somerset with the Club Kawasaki Forum, good turn out and no incidents  and back home again on Sunday, lucky with the weather no wet stuff at all, but some of the campers said it was a tad chilly overnight :hah: funny, it was ok in the B&B :hah:

Decided I want to lower the clocks on the Thruxton so ordered a new bracket. Realised I'd have to lower the headlight so ordered brackets for them too, then realised that I'd have to move the ignition switch - another bracket!
Then, I thought the stock handlebars would look a bit crap so ordered some Ace bars, then realised the stock bar end mirrors won't fit.....well, you get the idea - started out cheap and simple anyway!

Waiting for the bars and mirrors to arrive. No point starting it if I can't finish it!
Besides, my 10 year old assistant would never forgive me if I did the job without his 'help'....

Bars arrived, unfortunately they have two knurled sections which presumably should be hidden by the risers, unfortunately they're too far apart for my bike so it's back to the drawing board....well, eBay anyway!

Fitted a nice chrome and black radiator guard over the weekend.

Went well until I realised the bottom hole for the bolt was out by about an inch - got the drill out - sorted!!

    Looks good too!

I swapped to PR4s when they came out, and sadly I didn't like them :stomp: kept losing pressure and they didn't give me the confidence that the PR3s give me or much more milage so I'm back on and will be staying with the PR3s till they A) come out with something better or B) stop making the PR3s
