And I was allowed to sit on it. As soon as I can afford to I shall be parting with the Daytona and parking a Tiger in my shed, too. I've always wanted one and now, as Phil says, they make them for proper size people. Lovely bike!

In the middle of a horrible bit of building work. Dust and mess everywhere, it's at that stage where you think nothing will ever be O.K again. This morning wasn't going so well either, until I met the electrician who has a GSXR and was soon showing me pictures of it. Cheered me up no end and I hopped on the Striple and took myself out for a couple of hours and came back feeling much brighter.
How is it bikers recognise a fellow enthusiast within minutes of meeting and then get on like bestest friends right away? I still can't wait for the chaos to end but it's somehow a bit less stressful today.

They've behaved, so far, but if they step out of line biscuit privileges will be withdrawn instantly.

My 2 year old neighbour made me smile earlier when I gave her a birthday present & her card. She's such a smiley girl & she's a little darling :)

Bovril! Is there anything better after a bracing ride at this time of year? Winter has its compensations :)

Feeling good as I have washed, polished and got ACF 50 applied to the bike before the gritters arrive. Usually I mean to get round to it in time and end up doing it just too late.

Sunshine and a dry road with no traffic satisfied the inner hooligan and coffee and cake at the Blue and White satisfied the inner woman. Got home just before the rain set in. Happy now :)

Did a toy run on Saturday - about 30 bikes in all - mainly Harleys - was still good fun and feel like I've done my bit for Xmas as well now :D:D

Apart from work which is grim and not resolving for some time, its lovely to get out on the bike and run out into the country lanes. Loving this mild weather even if the sun doesn't shine, I slung a left and down through the villages towards Yalding and back again to the frenetic chaos of the Christmas shopping (not me) and home before starting work tonight. I can store this in my memory bank account. Good for the soul.
