    So so true, my first words on regaining consciousness to my mum were "Is the bike alright?"
    When she burst into tears, I guessed it would need a respray or something.

    Artur, what sort of sky box do you have? I have an old sky box around. Its the NON hard drive model so you can`t record on it but you are welcome to have it if it helps you out. :thumbsup:

    DVB is Digital Video Broadcast, which all sky digiboxes have to adhere to. As yours is white, that leads me to believe that its a sky+ box with built in hard drive. If the standby light is on it sounds like the box needs to be reset. Just remove the plug from the mains for 10 mins, plug back in & then wait a further 30seconds (for the software to initialise) before trying to turn on. Some people recommend you remove the card to do this but I don`t usually bother.

    EDIT

    Just found this as well.

    This could be needed but try the other method first as the second one will delete ALL PLANNER ENTRIES & RECORDINGS.

    Sorry to hear that mate. I`ve seen them going on Ebay from about £20 upwards. If you want to get one locally, I can heartily recommend the Satellite shop in Southborough. Very friendly & helpful people + their stuff is refurbished & usually comes with a minimum 3 month warranty.

    start it in second or third and it should work after all you only need to go and slow down alittle on the track everything else isn't needed
