What did you do to your bike today?

The clutch master cylinder on my KTM has been weeping for a few months now, it's only mineral oil so I just wipe it off the hand guard and away I go. I had however bought a replacement a few months ago as I knew that one day soon I'd need it ......... Today was that day ..........

The lever was very spongy when I snicked her into gear this morning, I was only having a blatt down to Canterbury and back with a mate, it was such a gorgeous day that it was rude not to!

On the way back the lever got progressively closer to the grip until just before Maidstone ..... no clutch ........

I did manage to pump the life out of it to give me just enough clutch to get me home.

The existing fluid was absolutely MINGING so I flushed it through with nice new fluid.

It took me about 20 minutes to find the new bloody master cylinder but it went on like a charm, bled up beautifully and all's well with the world again!

Well, it was yesterday but... I sat on it:D ! I hoped that I was sufficiently recovered that I could ride. Sadly it wasn't to be :(. So I plugged her into the Optimate and hope that maybe next weekend we can try again!

Sunday afternoon I removed the battery from my Summer bike & drained the fuel out of the tank & carbs. Then moved it to one side of the shed & covered it up with dust sheets until next year

I went to work and when I got home my bike had magically grown a Scottoiler and had a relay fitted for the heated grips. I must leave it at home more often!

I feel it's probably not really magic and it was Accessengineer, bored on a day off, but a nice surprise, however it got there :)

Are you quite sure Santa didn't bring it? You could always bring the bike to the Christmas Dinner so we can check for signs this may have been the case. I'm sure AccessEngineer would be pleased to take credit, but you shouldn't assume these things. Magic happens, you know...

Yesterday had the Side stand replaced under a recall, apparently they break and bike falls over. :( Still it was good enough reason to go for a ride :)

You mean using cheap products to make a cheap bike that is expensive :( they not make a black one, get it sprayed and then your Nick be BlackMulti, at least that would cover all your other bikes :)
There are a number of issues people have had, especially fuel sensors but so far none for me, Partly because using super unleaded :)

Unpacked the cardboard boxes that were delivered today to find my good condition Givi panniers enclosed.
Not bad for £60. Now all I need to do is refurb the rack that I got for free :rubhands:

All i've got to do now is to sort out some attaching spigots for the Givi brackets & I can send the bits off for stoving or plastic coating :)
