Handy device, well worth getting for trips away I would think. I'm not sure what battery your bike takes but mine are only 3kg and 4.2 kg £32.50 & £44.80. Though I did get a quote from bike shop for £78 fitted :hah::hah:.

I did look at these when I was looking for a battery extender for my works mobile but decided it was to big to carry around all of the time despite the double use

Those small battery packs are only really good for a few tries at jump starting, they produce enough current for 3second turnover, which is fine for most well running engines. Your battery on your bike and car are designed to turnover for more than 30seconds....
I know many trackdayers that opt for super small light weight Lithium batteries

Gareth I agree, but they have so many other uses as well for charging etc, for such a small item weighing very little

i thought you were just commenting on bike batteries.../ alternatives... its good for a backup on trips...if you don't know the state of your battery... i already have a 6000mAh battery for charging things.... other than bikes... :)

I was looking for something like this for my trip to Scotland, but didn't find anything small and light enough. I will definitely get one/or similar before trips abroad next year. Didn't like charging everything from the bike.
