I have considered carefully what might be the reaction if I just wrote, "Pictures, please", because you might have taken shots inside the cafe and I'd be accused of being a perv. But please let us see the new wee beasty - I am bereft at present, so for me this is bike porn. Is that a more acceptable version of being a perv? :-0

Made me smile riding about 40 odd miles last night around 8 PM EU Time, in around 30 minutes on cracking twisty dry, not all so smooth :) roads, with a max lean angle of 34º and a 109 leans in the ride, god knows what determines a lean :) and only seeing like 10 Cars if that
and after a Perfect Meal at a local Pub in a village, Trout, Creme Brulee, Panache, and Coffee for just £20-00 :)

    Cracking bike Phil.....

I think I'll leave the tracking to the R6...It'll cost me less when I get it wrong into Graham Hill...

Was at Snets today with Miky_G et al...great day, incident free (ish).although there were a couple of showers...Managed to get plenty of dry time in...Knackered now though...

For the first time in 8 weeks I have managed two days in a row on the bike :D:D
Still ache while riding so not doing any great distance or speeds but the fact I managed to ride both days has defiantly made me smile.

Now I just need to buy a replacement bike :rolleyes:

Good news at last! The other insurance company has admitted liability for my accident. I'm so relieved. I was in no doubt that I hadn't done anything wrong (I've re-lived it several times a night ever since and can't see how I could have done anything different) but to see it in writing takes a load of worry off your shoulders. This is the best day I've had since it happened :mdance:

:whoo:I think they just have some deal with the lawyers to make sure every claim makes them extra money

The salvage companies don't do badly either. The storage costs are £18.50 per day. The longer it takes the more they make. What with that, the insurers dragging their feet over dealing with the claim and the solicitors chasing everyone else it's not surprising insurance goes up every year.

IMHO, Its not the damage costs that increase premiums it's the ambulance chasing solicitors/firms getting you " the compensation you deserve":rubhands:

I am back on the road! I only did a few miles and I was glad to get off again but I am very happy to find that I could manage O.K.. The pain will get less as I get stronger and now I know which are the feeblest muscles I can work a bit harder at the exercises.

We went to Tagg Racing as the Daytona needed an MOT and while it was there I had the suspension set up to suit me. I know everybody says it's worth doing but what a difference it made! The front was too stiff and the back was too soft so it was all measured and adjusted and the ride home was so much more fun. It's stopped behaving like a rocking horse round corners and is so much easier to ride now. Going over bumpy surfaces is a doddle and much nicer for my poor, sore wrists.
That Stompgrip on the tank was worth every penny, too. Brilliant stuff.

The bill for the MOT and suspension work was £50. I thought it was a bargain. Roll on tomorrow. I'm going out again :)
