Was mentioned during the late risers rideout today; Sunday morning Pancakes at the Pelican diner in Hastings tomorrow.

Very highly rated by resident cake expert LammyR6 so worth a visit in my book!

I'm gonna drive down as I've got to drop some stuff off at a mates and the weather is probably going to be a bit showery anyway.

Ha ha, great minds think alike! Was just about to post but wanted to make sure it was open. Luckily it is :D! I guess it's not so much of a rideout as a "breakfastout". Especially as, I believe, the weather will deteriorate over the day.

So how about aim to be there by 1o.30 for some scrummy pancakes :pcake: with maple syrup or, alternatively, scrummy scrambled eggs? (Is that a good time?) The menu is limited but both dishes are worth a try.

The address is: The Pelican Diner, 20 E Parade, Hastings, East Sussex TN34 3AL (there is a small amount of bike parking next to it)

You got to do this quite early, as the rain coming across looks real nasty at around 12 to 1 ish, ofc unless you wanna get soaked :)

A couple of months ago the wife and I couldn't get a table because it was fully booked! It may be worth booking a table to avoid disappointment? If we can get enough done we may just pop along to say high :)

Booked a table for 4, 10.30, but outside as they had nothing left inside. They do have covers so we have to keep fingers crossed it doesn't get too wet too soon!! Booking is under Leila.

Good pancakes even if it did rain. Only Colin braved it on a bike the rest of us had nice warm dry cars.
