after brilliant treatment in a and e on sunday evening i was told i'd be having to come back next day to have temporary plaster and splints removed and properly sorted. went to set it all up and have been told the earliest appointment isn't until 14th of july. i know we're short staffed but it seems a bit daft. surely i'll be better by then or a.re they thinking it doesn't matter if things set crooked.
i think i'll get on the 'phone and ask what to do. i'd really like to get it over and done with as fast as possible. i can't go on typing with one finger. it takes ages to do.

no appointment until july 14th. and there seems to be a problem with the car drivers insurance. should have known things wouldn't run smoothly. no sign of an assessor either. i didn't cry when it happened but i really think i might any moment now.

so in the last 7 days i have trashed my bike, accessengineer and i have both been diagnosed with chest infections and pneumonia, the driver of the car i headbutted is not being charged with any offence and today i find someone has hacked my amazon account and is making use of my money.
    spiffing. really, really brilliant.
and it's only lunchtime. still time for more excitement before the week is up. i know it could be a lot worse but i'm thinking of staying in a chair and not moving until midnight has arrived.
    at least it's stopped raining.

we're both recovering slowly. could have been much worse. such a lot of hassle involved with dealing with insurance companies.

not impressed with how my claim has been handled so far. i paid for all singing all dancing all the extras insurance. apparently there is a "problem" with the car drivers insurance. nobody can tell me what the problem is and does it matter anyway? i am insured. i expect action.
at this rate i will get better before my bike does.

Phone up first thing tomorrow and say that the current loan bike is working out quite a lot per week and if they are going to drag their heels you can get a better rate booking it per month. If they think there are already spending out cash they like to get things sorted quicker :D

love to try that one, but they know i won't be riding any bikes for a while. i'm not going to be messed around. i have handed the case over to a specialist bike lawyer who i have had recommended by several people who have used his services in the past. he can't do any less then the solicitors i was given by the insurance company.

I was 10 minutes early for a job yesterday so parked up and had a read of the paper,
looked up to see a volvo rolling backwards towards me.
Fortunately my van stopped it from running away to far,
