Sunday 17 May - Change Of Location, Now Essex Tt

    Change of plan. Will now do the Essex TT incorporating Brentwood, Great Dunmow, Finchingfield (twice) and Sudbury. It will be led by NinjaBob and his trusty satnav.

    Two meeting points and times:

    McDonalds Swanley Service Area
    A20 East, Dartford, Kent DA14 5JA
    (please note NO access from west bound A20 or Maidstone Road)
    Depart 0900

    Total Petrol Station
    Brook Street, Brentwood, Essex CM14 5NF
    About 0930

    Return time when we get back!

    Sorry you missed us Rob :(. We waited until 0910 at McDonalds, then 0945 at Brentwood.
    I hope you had a good day in the end, and hope to see you soon.

    210 miles for me today, most of which was absolute heaven. Only issues were Essex adopting the modern method of road "dressing", too many punters in the Finchingfield cafes, and a little "incident" for one member of the group :(:(:(.
    I'll let them give details if they want, but wasn't too serious.

    Thanks to JohnA, TomasB, Ivo (ZZR forum) for keeping me company.

    Thanks guys for an, hmmm :whistle:, eventful day. Essex roads are very nice w/ loads of bends and Ss (quite a few with gravel or chippings). Looks like Essex council doesn't want to spend too much money on chevrons in tight corners, though.
    Anyway had a little off as I lost front in one of them. Pretty angry w/ myself :cry2: but otherwise ok. Bike has only few scuffs so good job R&G bungs.
