Well, first meet of 2015 is coming up fast.

I`m proposing we have the first one back at the Halfway House in Brenchley but if members fancy a change of venue, we have a good month to make suggestions, throw buns :sfight:, stomp off in a huff (joke!) & all make up & finalise a venue before the February one comes round.

If there`s enough sensible suggestions for somewhere more central, we can then create a poll

    EDIT:

Forgot to add, any potential venue must be bike friendly (Yes, there are still some places that aren`t :( ) & have decent parking.

I'll be there. Hope to bring Dean, if he's well enough.

As usual I won't be getting home from work early enough, although that should hopefully change for February... What about the Bear Inn Burwash, they host part of the poker run so we know they are biker friendly, large tarmac car park and I have always fancied eating there as they have that nice outside area with the pleasant view.

Good suggestion but bear in mind we have members that like to come over from the east of the area in the winter as well as the summer. This is why the blue boys was such a good place as it was fairly central & had good access from all directions.

Thats a good choice. The other place I thought might be OK in the summer is the cafe you guys sometimes use in Yalding, making it a bit more accessible for the more easterly members but its a bit more off the beaten track.

Another one to throw into the mix is the pub in Hawkhurst where we had a Christmas meal a year or two back. We could always rotate every few months if that means more people could come.

Saying that - I doubt I will make it this evening. After having managed to avoid the majority of illnesses going around this Christmas, I seem to be suffering slight Delhi Belly. I don't really want to pass anything on to anyone - especially Dean!!

Have a good evening folks and see you at the next one.

Great to see Paul and Sue again. Sorry for the big hug Sue. Great doing business with ya Paul. Dean was on form tonight with his scary stories. I took a picture of his "Shark bite". Will put it on another thread, with a warning!!! Car wash, Oak and Ivy get my vote , for obvious reasons!

Was good to see you both. Been a while since we`ve seen you both.

@deano81 No problem buddy. We try to give something to our members who`ve been "under the weather". Glad to see you`re in good spirits about it & we all hope a couple of items will help your road to recovery :)

I forgot to take a picture of your presents to show everyone who didn`t make it tonight.
