When I saw that you'd posted in the "What Made Me Smile today ...............????" Brett I thought maybe, just maybe

 

Hey thats unfair...I saw him smile once.

 

I Did?

 

Probably wind?

 

What made me smile and makes me smile whenever I witness it.....the commeradary that exists between us two wheeled fanatics.....even grumpy old sods like the Prof. ...luv ya really bud...its seldom seen in other walks of life whereby regardless of race , colour or creed a person is accepted.......keep em rolling lads n ladies.

Digging out my old HP Ipac mobile, Dusted it off, not been used for 6 years or so, prob 8 yrs old, plugging it in to charge it, sure it had the hump for a while keep rebooting itself, but after a few hours and suspending os full 100% charge, and holding 100% over night. put a sim in it, ( I needed an unlocked phone to activate a sim card) all working fine used it, messed with it, and still 12 hours later 96% battery, gotta say it made me smile, but more the case why why why some things are just built, and most things don't last a few years. Hats off to you HP

 

I've been to see the consultant who did my latest op. today. All good news and I got the O.K to get back on the bike as soon as it's not painful to sit on it, so look out at the weekend. I'm going to have a go if the weather's not too horrible. I'm sure I'll be riding like a beginner for a while but I'm so looking forward to it

the paper work arriving which has allowed me to fit the new personal plates to my car, bought for me by my lovely wife

I've been out on my bike, at last. Sunny day and nearly dry roads so I was determined to have a go. I was missing it so much, but the reality was even better! I had a lovely time. And it's been so long since I filled the tank that with the price drop I was trying to work out why I'd spent so little to fill it up.

We went to Kent Motorcycles, sticking to the main roads while I was getting used to the bike again. I met a celeb, (Paul Hollywood) and enjoyed drinking my mug of Bovril and chatting to him. Unfortunately I managed to insult him (because my grapevine had misinformed me) and after that he seemed to prefer talking to Accessengineer. I don't think I'll be on his Christmas card list next year. Oops.

For the ride back we did more back lanes and bendy bits, so I've had a wonderful day and remimded myself how much I love riding my bike I'm a bit uncomfortable now, but I'll wait and see how I feel in the morning. If it's not to bad I'll start using it all the time again.

 

I hope you left me some Bovril for tomorrow
