Sorry, Pat. You are right of course. Never quite as right as Rita, but then she has a gender advantage. It's a bikey site. I shall now smack my wristies, waterboard myself under the shower and try to find a YouTube recording of Donny Osmond to set on full volume in 'repeat'mode.

I do this in order not to represent a financial load on the State. Which will otherwise raise everyone's taxes.

    See? We can self-regulate!

hmm..yes i have seen the odd occasion they have gone off while restrictions not lit , however i drive the route most nights and have been through at lets say a tad over the national limit with no reaction, we are still trying to work them out if im honest, but they 100% become accuratley active once restrictions are lit. main culprits seem to be the foreign truck drivers. i appear to have been lucky over the past few years ( touches wood etc etc ) and as recently as a few weeks ago when i got gatso'd on the shepards bush one way it appears nothing has come of it, maybe it was border line or maybe i was in line with another vehicle and no determination could be made as to who set it off ...i dont know...what i do know is i shall continue to thank my lucky stars and heed them as warnings that im starting to push the boundaries too far and have recieved what panel man described as a bollocking from a copper in disguise as an electronic David Bailey

Carnage just download the speed camera app I posted earlier and run it while driving, it gives you enough warning, so at least you are aware of where the mobile and fixes cameras are, update it and you will know where all average are too.

The fact I cannot get a certain motorcycle that is for sale out of my head is killing me!!!!

It is one of my favourite ever 2 strokes and I can't afford it and certainly should not be even committing 1% of thought to it as I have too much else going on and I need all the money I can get but all I can think of is this lovely 2T lump of heaven.

If it is still available next month I may just have to pull the trigger and fulfil a dream that I have harboured for over 20 years since I flogged a very similar bike

Why do I do this to myself :bhead:

Hmmmmmmmmmm, Suzuki square four two stroke engined godliness.

I cannot tell you guys how much I miss my old one, I NEED NEED NEED, this bike in my life!!

I can feel an itchy trigger finger but will resist until next month but I have a gut feeling it needs a home in my garage.

I was an utter hooligan on my last one, I can feel that urge for insanity building again

That's how I justified buying the Daytona. I told the Family it's an appreciating classic :cash: :hah:

Yesterday morning coming into work at 6.45 am while it was still below freezing I came up behind a road sweeper merrily sweeping away all the salt and grit from the road. It makes you wonder who's bright idea it was to send them out :bhead:

I guess it isn't as bad as a few years ago when i saw the road sweeper following the gritter and sweeping it up before it had even had a chance to work but still a waste of time and money.

It makes you wonder how the person who organised it gets dressed in the morning without help!

    insurance companies.

It's that time of the year to renew the bikes insurance after the trouble I had a few years back I won't do joint or multi bike policies so the first renewal goes smoothly no problem and cheaper than last year.

The second well that was a balls up. Online comparison site finds me a good deal so I click accept get taken to the insurance company site. confirm all my details are correct and confirm the insurance. Then I pay as normal after which I get a message saying that I won't be insured until one of their advisers calls me to confirm everything but they will do that the next day. No great lose as I had a days grace on the old insurance anyway. Except no phone call the next day or the one after that so now the bike isn't insured but I have paid still :mad:

so I phone them and get transferred to a phone no one answers 47 minutes on hold and nothing resolved.

Today I got through and cancelled the policy and they had the cheek to say that they couldn't call me because although I had typed in my details and again when I went to pay they couldn't find my numbers. What a load of bull shit.

so I have now insured with someone else but take about hard work
