Another JimBo Magical Mystery Tour, even I don't know where I'm going!

    Meet at 7 Diner, Polhill, TN14 7AA
Arrive whenever you want. Diner opens at 0800.
Depart 0900 (to beat the traffic)
Return between 1300 & 1400 but you can always cut and run earlier.

Get out now, winter is coming!

Each to their own - but you'll be missing out on what will almost certainly be a great run - he doesn't do bad ones.

You could of course be at 1066 for coffee at 11:00 and talk about motorcycling. Then if you are feeling really adventurous you could ride the 15 miles to Wessons and have another cup of coffee and talk again.

I suppose you could be saving the planet - Jim certainly isn't :ner:

Just look at the miserable response here to Hoppies French Trip which judging by the route looks like a great day on the bike. He won't be doing that again in a hurry.

Tried one of Jims rideouts recently mate and I was on my own most of the time. I don't ride early in the morning because I have arthritis and it takes me a few hours to unseize. I rode to Bury Hill recently which is a bit further than Wessons. Have a nice day.

Sadly jimbo routes aren,t 300kg cruiser friendly.
Being retired, I probably ride more often than most people on here, I just need to ride slower. Unfortunately, that means that i can,t keep up with Jimbo or other lighter bike riders. I could ride faster and get out earlier, but I choose not to.

Well Buddy I seem to remember we have covered a few routes at a decent clip, even tho my ole Ladybird is a heavy duck.
I'd give these whippersnappers a bit of a run for their money.
You'll have to come down to the West country and we'll scorch the grass on the lanes.
How you doin on the home front, is it up for sale yet?

Did you take one of my routes, Alan? 115 miles seems a lot for Northiam to Wessons!

I enjoyed that. Thanks for your company JohnA & amancalledrob. Weather turned out nice and we got some miles in before the traffic built.

Sorry about a couple of bumpy roads, and really sorry it was such a long wait at The Chalet, an hour I do believe!!!! It negated the earlyish start :(. I'll just have a drink in future.

Your knowledge of motorcycles is far, far greater than mine (but that's not hard), but you even know the sound of the exhaust (which is a bit sad :p). Still, it was something to keep you amused at The Chalet.

sad to see a quite nasty looking crash involving 2 motorcycles on the A259 Guldeford Lane this afternoon , hope both riders have nothing more than dented pride and mangled bikes ....not to say i wish mangled bikes ...that was the scene.

    edited with correct location
