3rd September Monthly Meet At Halfway House

In order to make up for embarrassing myself (believing my electronic diary that our Monthly get-together is tonight, the 2nd) I thought it might be helpful if I assume there is to be a gathering of the Clan SECB tomorrow night, Wednesday the 3rd of September and post this up as a reminder to everyone!

I've just had a meeting cancelled so will be able to attend. Anyone else? (I'm still seething that I wasn't able to partake in last month's cake extravaganza).

hoping to make this as more than likely the last one il get to this year as its getting darker and darker now and its a tad out of the way to be riding back from at night

 

Sorry all but won't be able to make these meetings, get in from work too late in the evening.

It's not too late, Ladies and Gents, to throw caution and your Intray to the winds, jump astride your bike, or, er, open your car door in my case :-( and hie on down to the Halfway House where I trust they have two dozen or more foaming ales to quench your thirst and some decent tucker to fill your tummies.

Oh, and there may be some other SECBers with whom to natter!

Special note to Newbies and Young'uns - please come, otherwise the Old Farts will talk about bikes they bought when they were twelve and bikes they wish they could ride, except for their advancing arthritis and rheumatics and when that conversation falls flat, how no young people ever turn up! Pleeeeez?!!

 

I agree. So too was the mini-sized lemon Meringue pie. But the beer..! The beer - oh, boy. What a shame I had to drive home. But I also got advice on a new helmet and my bread-baking technique. What's not to like?

great to catch up with everyone , and the ride home wasn't "too" bad, apart from some suicidal mammals trying to take me out...

wondered where you had shot off to.. yeah that first left is some goat track, I thought you might have figured it wasn't left straight away... I waited at blue boys for 5 mins and then figured your either lost in the wilderness or gone another route so sodded off home lol

 

Haha i satnav'd to blueboys after getting lost for like 5 minutes.

and then it was all smooth sailing.
