Is it because the moderators are dictators? Noooo, this is a fantastic site and all respect to those that give up their time to run it.

Is it because people who live 30 miles away don't arrange rideouts up and down my road? Nooo, we should all arrange rideouts in the area we know, let others arrange them in their area, and go to each others.

Is it because people only talk about the things they are interested in but I'm not? Doesn't even deserve an answer (mainly because the only thing I know about bikes is that they come in different colours).

No, I'm afraid that I have just bought a small hotel in Charmouth in Dorset (pronounced 'doooor-sit') and I am going to be a cheerful Basil Fawlty, serving people breakfast first thing in the morning.

Thanks guys for some great times, but don't despair I'll continue to post insults to you :giggle: Think of me while I'm suffering the open lanes and coast roads

I guess the next SEC outing should be mates rates to Charmouth!

This morning's walk to the beach. Exhausting! Well it is 300 yards away.

Surely "morning" and "cheerful" is an oxymoron for you??? ;) lol! Better have a constant supply of coffee waiting for you when you wake up :D

Loads of luck with your new venture and yes - will definitely be coming for a visit. Purely to help support you in the stress of having biking roads and the beach so near of course Can't let you suffer that alone.

Here's to a new start and lots of fun times ahead!

Welcome aboard me lovely, I've just moved to Sherborne, you are in my territory. Was born on Portland Bill.
Will be the first down to supp a pint, wos the name of the gaff.

Buteful touring roads down here, especially once the grokels have gone home. Give it another 2 weeks and you'll have the roads to yourself.
Plenty of biker folks down here, giss a pm. when you have settled in. Patrick.

Great part of the UK. The wife is in West Bay as I speak and we are back down to Weymouth next week. Did you catch the Red Arrows in Weymouth during the week?

    Good luck.

If you need an extension or decide to flatten it and rebuild, let me know! Will you post up the address so it can be included in the Knowledge Bank of Roadwart's 'C' drive? Bon chance... If you are subscribing to various B&B websites let us know which ones so we can leave feedback [heh, heh, heh]!

The pics look wonderful. I expect it will be beautiful even on crisp January mornings. When does the truck leave?
