Right, this is not a test.

Thinking about lunch in Le Touquet via D940 (Coastal Road) and then off to St Omer, via D939, D126. Have a stop, look and drink, eat or whatever, then back to Calais on the D206, D215.

Rough Idea is maybe a 9am Start from Folkestone via train and 1800 return by train.

    It's about £17 there and £15 back.

I say Train back because they run 4 over the two hour slot. If for whatever reason we miss the ferry...then we are stook for a few hours...

Going to the Goodwood Revival on Friday but should be cool for the Saturday. Definitely prefer the train to the ferry as well, plus it's just that little bit closer. :)

I'm with you on this one HL - I really need to get some French miles in this year - would be nice to have a list of participants and do you have a satnav route planned?

i don't think it will work out for me. I have Brighton Burn up on Sunday and Brands hatch on monday and i might just need to spend a bit of time getting the bike ready

Redrat the route looks like this:

lunch in Le Touquet via D940 (Coastal Road) and then off to St Omer, via D939, D126. Have a stop, look and drink, eat or whatever, then back to Calais on the D206, D215….ie Anti Clockwise

You need to make your own bookings etc...

As for a list of people…who knows…at the moment I only know of one other booked on the train…
There are a lot of maybes'...
