Excellent approx 100 mile route from 7diner to Chalet lead at a good pace Jimbo. Bacon and egg butty and cup of tea all perfect.... then second to last to pull out of Chalet (Thomas behind me) and everyone had disappeared!! stayed on the road till Henfield, fuelled up, headed back towards Chalet but no one?? so lead Thomas back towards Edenbridge so he could head for Eltham and home hope everyone is back safe.

Brilliantly led Jimbo ....superb route, good company, great pace and we even attempted to morph an aprilia and a kawasaki but I guess a kawarilia was a bit exhaustive (geddit?) .....with a bit of luck a bit of time in the man cave might see it straight again.
Bar mod works well for my riding position and hasnt effected the handling at all.

That was a grrrreat ride (160miles door to door). Nevermind early start as, as soon as we pulled out of 7diner I was well awake by the pace . Thanks to alexs for pointing me home. Great day. Just next time when you want to get rid of me tell me before we set off;). Hope to see you next time....

So sorry Alex and Tomas. We were probably on the limit for not adopting the 2nd man drop of system. I thought we were all together as I turned left just before Henfield, but obviously not!

I'm glad you got back OK, and hope you enjoyed the first 2/3 of the ride. I'll make sure you're there for the duration next time.

What happened to Russell? Post up so we know you got back safe mate.

Realised the corner hadn't been marked so hung back to see if Alex and Tom caught up, when they didn't I carried on but couldn't find the group, when I hit the a272 and still hadn't found you I decided it was best to head home.

sounds really boring :sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep: we went out lost no one, found no one, had no crashes and didn't know which way we were going or where we were so couldn't really get lost :D:D

Glad everyone made it back in more or less one piece  even better that everyone made it back smiling. :D

Thanks Jimbo for a great run back. Carnage was talking about his swelling - the next thing Lost is try too mount him.. Is this the norm?? Apart from now having a blinkin great big nail sticking out my rear tyre and an air lock (I think) in my rear brake it was great fun and I look forward to many more ride outs with Jimbo showing the way round roads most of us never knew existed.

Sounds like a fab ride. Sorry didn't get to you all. Had a slight mishap with forgetting about sidestand , dropping bike , picking it up :) and then walking like a hunchback for the rest of the day having pulled my back . Still, at least managed a little bimble locally.

Ended up having good day and rideout. Met Geoff at 1066 for brekky. Met Leila and Tom in Rye and then headed to Dean's place. We had a good blat to the Clifftop cafe at Capel and then a good ride home. A lovely, warm day for a change.

Sorry Russell :(. I hope it hasn't put you off my ride outs.

I'm a bit disappointed it actually turned into a "starburst".
But I think it's in my contract to do a couple a season!

Who needs TomTom when you can have JimJim :giggle:

Pity yer bikes not green otherwise things would have been pretty much perfick!

Great run down to The Chalet - little traffic (the benefit of getting out of our cots early) - the strangest cheeseburger I have ever eaten - served in a baguette and buttered!!

Sorry we lost Alex and Tomas from the Chalet - TBH I was not sure if peeps were peeling off.

Some tomfoolerey followed at a junction resulted in Lost having an unexpected lie down - I blame Jim - well why not

Starbursts - why have one when you can have two - thought JimJim had headed off the A264 towards Penshurst but really he hadn't - it was just our lady rider heading for home (my apologies for not introducing myself to you at The Chalet)

Of course they waited for us at the junction of the A264 and Hartfield Road (did they f%^k) however a spirited blat followed back to Edenbridge (was that really a 50mph limit :red:) with the recently anally assaulted Carnage right behind :)

We came upon our fellow riders (Lost, Jimbo and Napa) obviously worried sick about where we might be - parked in the garage in the middle of Edenbridge - a coffee and a chat followed.

Great day and great company - nice to meet people new and old (Lost is it really ten years since those Wivvy Runs)

Cyclists - don't even get me started  - but I suppose like it or not the popularity of this sport is gaining momentum and is relentless.

    Pleasure riding with you all.

    Till the next one :)
