after the spray shop not getting the right match on the gixxer they said if i find the code they'll re do it..

They said it might be the base coat making it look a bit brighter but im no paint expert so i dont have a clue.. ive found the code well... i think its the code but im not sure if this is just a code for that site or is it a generic code? wondering if anyone has any experience with the company or not

    Bike is a suzuki GSXR 600 2004

It says its pearl flash yellow code 4775 and the base coat is 1775

Have you checked under the seats for stickers or on the frame under the seats? Also if you have the original service book, it may be inside the front cover.

You could take the full bike VIN and any other stickers or stamped number codes you can find to a Suzuki main dealer so they can look on the manufacturer's original records. Hope you don't discover anything untoward!

Just found this site for you: it's American, but has an EU address.
    https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/suzuki-parts/color-codes.aspx
It suggests your colour is Code YEC. Still worth checking the bike's VIN with the dealer.

Thing I've found is even if you get the right codes, it's no guarantee the paint will be a perfect match (due to temperature, how it applies etc), that's why usually when respraying a panel a bodyshop would do a 'blend' to fade the new into old and make it harder to spot. Even worse with metallics and pearls.

Cheers for that guys will have a look in the log book and find the VIN number and give a dealer a call.. yeah i had it sprayed and it didnt match just a little to paler that the yellow ive got.. maybe its the under coat that was on as it was a white base maybe if he used a darker colour it would have made it that tiny bit darker.. took him five coats to get a decent cover on it as well though suchh a pain wish i had the whole bike sprayed now

Right just been looking around on the bike trying to see if i can find any codes.. under the tank towards the rear shock i found a code.. similar to the one panel man said.. now it was on a paper sort of material and had some creases in so not 100% but from what i can tell the code is YEC (possibly O?) 29G10 YEO Pretty sure the end is YEO which is what makes me question the first one.
