A bit late notice and dependent on weather as I don't want to get my new bike all dirty. ;)

Meet at The 7Diner, Polhill, Halstead, TN14 7AA.
    Depart 1830
Return about 2.0 hours later for swift drink in a local hostelry.

All welcome, but please indicate if you are interested.

If you do attend I would advise clear visors and working lights ( ) as it will very dark under trees etc.

I'm a big tease actually, a very big tease!

Ive thrown caution to the wind and bought a petrol tanker, commonly known as a Kawasaki ZZR1400 .
Bob made me do it, or it was the voices in my head. I'll start another thread sometime and post some snaps.

I'll be riding it tonight just so I can use the headlights :).

I'm already on it! I thought I recognised your handle Ray. I'm not sure if I've met you, but I soon will I expect.

Still got the Raptor, I don't think I will ever part with her. I may "tart" her up a bit if I can only clear my garage to give myself some room. I did sell the SV650 though, which partly funded the ZZR.

Ooo, it's turning into a ZZR owners forum here! :D How's yours coming along?

You have met Ray on a run down to the coast last year and your both going to Prum.

You both have the same nicknames on the other forum.

Please try and keep up you two.

Old people - what would you do with them :giggle:

Is becoz I is :old: innit?

Are you the one who asked me to move my rose of a Raptor away from your thorns of ZZRs at the Chalet Ray.
I think you said it spoiled the photo opportunity! :D

Can't wait for Prum and not long now.

As this is a ride for oldsters with K's, I'll be there by 6.30 despite having 1/4 of the pots & 1/2 the cc/horses (prob twice the noise though:rolleyes:).

Tis always a pleasure to ride there & be served lime cheesecake 'n coffee by those nubile young things at the Diner while waiting... in vain...twice now:(. Hope this isn't the beginning of a pattern for me on your Wed rides but hope you're emergency ended ok.:)

So sorry Les. Crisis over, but too late!

I will ensure it happens next week (if you are around).
Post will be created as soon as I've had dinner.

fuelling virtually sorted ...maybe a bit of fine tweaking but now ride able ( pain in the arse is, for every little tweak its a full tank off, air box off, and to access the idle mixture screws ...carbs off too and then re assemble to check which in reality requires a ride to put the bike under load so its a game of patience), i want to do a valve clearance check and have a good mate popping over in a few weeks to assist as ive never attempted shimmed valves before , and in time she will have a change of rubber as i dont get along with the crap thats on there at the moment ( wont be long as the current ones are squarish anyway.) on the upside i am now the proud owner of my very own set of vacuum gauges which allowed me to balance the carbs which made a world of difference to the idle fuelling.
