Weather permitting I'll be meeting up with Megawatt at the 1066 around 11ish if anyone else fancies it.
Be nice to meet some more of you and then go for wee bimble. Not been on a group ride before and I'm still just getting used to the bike again so be gentle with me!

Hope to see some of you later!

I might be around this afternoon. Got my Sunday football with my kids first until around 12:30. If the weather holds up I may send Alan a text to see where abouts you may be.

Will probably head that way around 11.00 - 11.30ish. Then decide where to go from there. :)

would have liked to have joined in but after the past few days i really had to recover and re charge myself ...and for one that normally only requires 5 hrs sleep i reckon last nights 10 hr coma proved ridng isnt such a good idea.

I think I will settle for a potter to Rye this afternoon. Out most of yesterday, on the bike, so I think I will be happy with a short trip out today.

The Strand. Not sure when, but possibly between 2 and 3 o'clock. I'm hoping the rain will stop by then. I have just finished washing my bike. Should have known better.

If I hadn't gone via Wessons after leaving 1066 my early morning blast to avoid the rain would have worked but got soaked by two big showers.....somehow managed to miss everyone at both cafés but had fun anyway :)

Ah, well. My clean bike is now covered in dirt and seagull poo, (I did rinse the poo off when I got home) but I kept nice and dry in my waterproofs and the afternoon wasn't wasted as I have, at last, mastered drinking take-away coffee with my crash helmet on.

yer the weather was playing weird games that day :(
i very nearly ended up binning the bike coming out of the 1066 when the rear decided to spin up and i still only had the revs at tick over  it's always been bad there but the rain and hail clearly didn't help.

Watching the hail stones across the lakes at the fish farm did make me rather pleased i wasn't riding at the time but once i got home and the sun came out again i was pi$4ed off that i'd gone home.
