I posted on the FB thread you're talking about and I'm sorry if I appeared rude. Thats not the way it was meant and I don't think I said anything that was a personal attack on you any more than your post was a personal attack on Dale. It was just my opinion on the situation Dale found himself in. In fairness, I wouldn't say you got reamed as there were only a couple of response comments, but I'm sorry if you felt that way. I know in your post you said you were playing devils advocate but then you went on to say "I think it strange...." so maybe it looked more like your personal opinion than a suggestion of a different viewpoint? Anyway, I'm sorry if I offended you, it was not my intention.

I posted on that thread too, but in no way was there anything aimed at you personally, just my opinion on the situation. I too apologise, for anything I said to offend

I also posted, I thought that it would clarify and help make sense of the situation.

i did laugh though when i read that people wouldn't ride bikes with faults thinking about the number of times i have :D
things like the rear shock, front springs only one working brake out of 3 and i know i'm not the only one

Haha! Yeah but its different if you decide that when there's no other involvement isn't it. If you get a warning letter from a company then they are being accountable for that fault and that is a safety net for you. You don't really have much of a chance of going back to them and complaining if you ignore it and the s**t hits the fan do you?!

Things like ABS not working, seized callipers, loose spokes, dodgy tyres, worn headstock bearings. No never done anything like that:fib:

Just seems different if it is coming from the manufacturer somehow. And some of us actually know enough to make an educated guess at how safe our own bikes are. But, some are unsure and it is always best to err on the side of caution when it involves your safety

LOl... Well Dale did make it very clear from his first post that he was ''Pretty Angry''. What did you expect? :lol2:

Sorry you felt offended Yappa, but we are all adults and shouldn't be shocked if someone doesn't accept our ''words of wisdom '' as said above, Dale did say he was 'not pleased'.

I would not have moderated anything in the post.

The FB page is more geared for free speech with no ''babying'' filters that treat us like children by changing our words for us, but so saying it stays very clean with regards to swearing and each member is responsible for the words they choose to type. It probably is safer here if you of a delicate disposition :) :bike:
