Well, despite the fact it's pretty wet out there right now - it's meant to be drier tomorrow than Sunday. I figured I would head to Wessons for 12.30 to have a spot of lunch and then maybe just do a short cross country run to Tenterden or Rye.

If the weather is pants tomorrow and I change my mind I will post up!

Erm tomorrow is Sunday? Does look as though it is brightening up at the moment :) I doubt if I will make it though as I am taking the wife into town seeing as she actually feel up to a little stroll since her op :) popping into a travel agents too :)

The fog is lifting a bit so at the moment will stick to the plan of getting to Wessons for approximately 12.30. As Tom says - no rain and not meant to be any so that's a good start :).

Lol, I posted it late last night so at the time tomorrow was Saturday. Although now I am just confusing myself . However, by tomorrow I meant Saturday which of course is now today until tomorrow when it will become yesterday ;)

Great to see everyone at Wessons today :D. Also a nice little blat over to Rye for what was going to be 3 of us but ended up 7 of us. Wind had definitely picked up on the way back causing a bit of a moment when found myself on wrong side of white line. Reckon made it home just in time though, weather beginning to look dodgy.

Heh Tom, thought you would go after those 2, bet clutch was slipping a treat then down the road from battle to Ninefield T junction, I caught them both up before the T Junction, but you were long gone lol :) A Good ride out, done a few miles today as I did 50 before Wessons

Had a great ride today, worth getting the bike filthy for:lol:

Only fly in the ointment? My rear tyre.

I think it started to lose pressure somewhere on bluebell hill and then completely lost pressure on the M2

Scariest thing ever as it lost pressure right as I got on to the bridge section just before J2 and the cross winds were so strong that it felt like it was going to spin the rear round, how I never lost it I will never know, even more so how I got the bike home!! Luckily I live 3 mins from the M2 so I just nursed it home so gently.

New under crackers time, coz I almost :poop: myself :giggle:

yep i wanted a final few minutes of fun but yep even at that speed i could smell my clutch and in those cross winds trying to line up that corner at ### mph was interesting .:D they were pretty smooth riders and i had to wait a while until i was happy i could get passed without having a issue .

Really enjoyed seeing so many out

Cant say I was cold at any point today anywhere on my person :) ,,,,,,,,,,,, funny though, Tom after you talking about the lube for the zipper thingy, I recall thinking I know there should have been a tube with my jacket but never found it, well till I got home when I found a spare inside pocket that was like Aladdin's Cave, huge, had the all instructions and a big solid tube of lube :) all in a plastic bag, and never even felt in in the jacket, DoH!!!

I know Phil, what worries me was that at times we were pressing on a bit. If it had let go at some of the more twisty parts I would 100% have binned it. I couldn't believe how hard it was to control as it let go on the M2. Ah well, will get a new one on in a couple of weeks. Actually looking forward to getting it on the paddock stand to see what has caused it to go so fast - other than a lack of rubber
