Weather is meant to be nice on Sunday. Thinking of a ride out for brunch somewhere.

    My idea is either:
    • The Seven Diner (pancakes!!s)
    • Edenbridge area - anyone know of any nice cafes around there?
Departure/meeting points to be arranged nearer the time.

Got your Costa etc in Edenbridge and your dedicated bike parking with shortcut through NatWest, but can recommend the 7 dinner for the breakfast, not sure about the pancakes other than the ones that come with the American breakfast are nice.

    Right. Plan is:

Sedlescombe, Hawkhurst, Yalding, Ightham and then on to the Seven Diner. Aim to arrive at 11.30ish at the Diner.

Will leave Sedlescombe at 10am from outside the Queen's Head Pub. Then could always meet anyone else who wants at Yalding, outside the café (not stopping for coffee there though). After the Diner could take alternative route back via Edenbridge, Maresfield, Horam (Wessons)

Will try and put up a Google Map Route in a bit, when can work it out :)

I'm out tomorrow, I'll meet you in Yalding.....do you mean the café that's like something out of 'League of Gentlemen' or the 'Teapot Island' one?

Is the café the one that is actually called the yalding café? I might tag along but if I am not there then don't wait as I am on call for work so could be out and about.

Good turnout today. 4 of us left Sedlescombe, met 3 at Yalding and now 12 at diner. Good breakfast and coffee.

Great day out with an interesting mix of road conditions and a few slippery bottom moments

Good turnout, and great to see everyone again, especially Sporty on the Roadster :MC:

    Once again, sorry Leila.

Mine was twitching a bit on the road into Edenbridge. I had a couple of slides , so thought I'd head home on the A264, but that was pretty bad in places. Be careful out there peeps. Great rideout though. Thanks to Leila and Jim.
