    Going to put my personal plate I had on all my M3s on to my fireblade, saves me paying the yearly retention fee!!
    My new plate turned up today and I think it is great. Exactly why I bought the bike :disco:

    Some come, some go, your steed goes on forever. No double entondre meant.
    Waited for you Alan at the Riverside Merrican Diner. Mind you the rain kept wetting us.
    Nice ride but far too many dumb cagers for my liking.

    Well, it was yesterday, but surviving an almighty tank slapper.

    Was my fault, well, 50/50 me and the poxy road :rolleyes:

    Overtaking a car in second and fully wound on the throttle and just as I was passed I hit a bump in the road which sent the front up a little. Not a problem normally unless the fool at the bars brings the front down not perfectly straight :eek:

    Tony was riding behind said that the blade did quite a dance!!!
    Just kept the power on and it straightened out nicely.

    So, always look for hidden bumps in the road and never use full throttle and you will never get a tank slapper :whistle:

    An email;
    Hi Dave
    Thank you for your email. Our Amesbury centre has the most experience training paraplegic AFF students. I will forward your email onto them and then come back to you with their response. It is very likely that they will want to meet you before agreeing to sign you up for the course.

    Kind Regards
    Claire

    Just as a follow up, spent a good hour on the phone with an instructor. He seemed completely cool with the whole deal and as it turns out is not only an ex-firm bloke, but also a wind tunnel instructor and a qualified skydiving gear stitching person.
    So that's the rig covered too :D

    Only downside is he prefers to jump in Florida or Portugal because of the predictable weather, so I'll be forced to have a holiday abroad aswell. :rolleyes:
