Certainly not great news. I never thought the BBC's coverage was great but at least it was free.

I now watch the Moto Gp on the BBC due to the free HD, but in my eyes the guys on Eurosport do a better job and you get 2&3 :MC:

    I agree Steve!
And this: "UK Sports fans have had a rough deal for too long," said BT chief executive Ian Livingston. "Many have been priced out of the market but we will change this by giving away BT Sport for free with our broadband. Sports fans are the winners today." They are still charging you for broadband if you don't already have it. How can charging for something we used to get free be helping fans who were previously priced out of the market? Hmmmmm  (or am I being dense lol)

I cant watch the BBC coverage as everytime that t&*t Charlie Cox says something I want to put my foot through the screen....hopefully he'll be put on the first plane back to Oz (sorry Yappa but you can have him back), always Eurosport coverage for me even if the Motogp is screened a few hours after the race, I wonder if BT Sport will do something similar.

    Correct!
So you can buy BT's shite Phone/Broadband service, get BT Vision, and get "free" MotoGP! The generosity is overwhelming!

I agree with you, Eurosport takes an exciting sport and makes it incredibly boring with monotone commentary and poor coverage. At least the bbc has clear and good images, Eurosport seem to use cameras from long ago, footage that the bbc used to look like back in the 80's.

Plus I miss a lot of moto gp on Sundays but the iplayer again has clear and good footage. Big loss for the masses in my opinion.

Miky_G - The BBC and Eurosport take their images from the same feed, apart from the pit lane stuff so I can only assume the poor quality has to do with the satellite signal you are receiving. Dorna provide the actual pictures of the racing....a bit like F1 Television provides all the pics for F1.

I don't have anything against the image, as steeve said it's all the same, but the commentators in my opinion are monotone on eurosport , i will miss the BBC this can't happen !! who would be the commentators on BT do we know yet ?

Technically you DO pay for it via the BBC as if it wasn`t for the BBC you wouldnt pay a licence fee. :ner:

Its just a marketing ploy by BT to try to get more customers on their broadband package.

Steve, its nothing to do with the feed. Its the same in anyone elses house and my local. If you watch the same footage of bsb on itv 4 and eurosport, the itv footage is so much crisper. Even eurosport hd is worse. Bit I have been told in the past that the attention to detail is a bit much at times !

It's not even televised here in Oz!! You have to have the sports channel (which is a HGUE rip off)! So we have to wait a few weeks until the torrent is out and we can watch it.

Just watched the round 2 last night. Only bummer was it was in Spanish and no Lammy my Spanish is no where that good!
