They give the whole "we got as much right as cars and bikers" routine.........
So how come every other road user has to pass a theory test/tests and have their mode of transport mot'd and insured...

I say the lycra merchants should aswell.
    sorry for the hyjack.........rant over.

There's a couple of them who go up and down on one wheel outside the Ace on Friday nights... normally I respect a good wheelie (can't do them myself) but I can't help thinking there's no talent in doing it on a machine with both brakes on the handlebars and no clutch...

I remember you mentioning that yesterday. They don't look comfortable and they seem to have all the disadvantages of a motorbike with not much of the good stuff. We've all got our knees in the same breeze I suppose but they don't do it for me

I once had an altercation with a lycra-clad-Bradley-Wiggins-wannabe while I was in the car. He and his bummer mates were riding four-wide, right across the carriageway. Although they knew I was behind, they made no effort to move. I patiently waited for some time, held back and indicated to overtake. Gave a wide berth and booted it. No problem, job done. However, although I'd given them plenty of room (crossing the central line etc), one rider took offence, shouted and tried to catch up. Er ok. I'm in a car, he's on a bicycle. He clearly had a deluded sense of his abilities. Still, I eased off and let the red-faced, panting prick gain some ground... knowing full well that there was a T-junction ahead. I waited at the junction for a short time, whereupon he sped up behind me shouting every kind of expletive... only for him to immediately disappear from the view of my mirrors. The idiot had slid under the back of my car as his brakes locked up and then he couldn't free himself from the pedals. I drove off leaving him lying on the ground like some up-turned turtle covered in gravel rash. It was hilarious.

In my Youth I was driving down a narrow lane, and 2 were riding side by side, if single easy get pass, I pressed horn just a short press to let them know I was there, I followed for a little way they were not gonna move over and in a sort of wider section I drove past fast quite close though and one banged the roof of the car, slammed my brakes on, open door as he went to go past and knocked him clean off, not gonna say what happened after that, But I bet he thought twice about banging someones car again :)

Some numpty in the school car park, clearly can't drive and has left a lovely scratch down the rear wheel arch and bumper of my car. Didn't even have the decency to leave a note . Hopefully the car park cameras have caught who it is :rubhands:
