That no one has jumped on the Maggie Thatcher band wagon of horray the wicked Women that caused so much grief in this country all of a sudden now, that she has moved on to rule the underworld with her Iron fist.

Pretty well every other sector of the media / sad social media crap has

Ok, I'll start, nasty woman, the country still hasn't recovered from the things she did and probably won't do in my lifetime. Unless people point out the way she destroyed society in this country, then all the coverage at the moment wil be about how great she was etc just as it always is when someone dies. I expect her family loved her, but as a public figure she could only expect to be discussed publicly.

Work needs avoiding :) & MT was a great person with morel up bringing, her biggest mistake was believing people were like her, the Ignorance is quite unbelievable when it comes to politics. Unions killed this country and destroyed society, decimating Villages and areas, then Bankers lost all our money.

Police officers they generally need avoiding, always costs you money :p Speed Cameras best avoid them too

May be to young to realise what you're on about but from what I've seen in these tough times I'd rather have a PM with some backbone in power than the last few we've had. At least she did some things to defend Britain and give us some of the things we take for granted (like the EU rebate) unlike the current lot who seem intent of giving everything away to Europe.

Did make me laugh on the news yesterday when they replayed an old interview and she said something like "Only the french come have come up with something that stupid." :hah:

My personal opinion is that she was the best thing to happen to this country since Sir Winston :cigar: & made sure GREAT Britain deserved to be called Great.

She inherited a country that was debt ridden (as usually happens after Labour have spent all the money we don`t have) & pretty much run by the unions who sent everyone out on strike at the drop of a hat which caused the economy to pretty much grind to a standstill. How many of you remember piles of rubbish in the streets & constant power cuts caused by strikes? Not to mention sky high unemployment, up to 97% tax & double figure inflation? She gave people of any class or background the ability to earn a good wage provided they were willing to put in the effort. She also made it possible for millions to get on the property ladder who otherwise wouldn`t have had the chance. I`m not saying I agreed with all she did, the poll tax for example, but overall she did this country more good than harm. She was reelected twice making 3 terms as PM so there were enough ppl at that time, who agreed with the majority of her policies.

I just wish that ppl all over would try to remember that whether you loved or hated her, she does have living relatives & show a bit of respect to them in their time of grief.

<EDIT> Just to clarify so theres no misunderstandings, the last paragraph wasn`t aimed at anyone on here but at people elsewhere who seem to be rejoicing at her passing away.

I would like to add I'd happily have a maggy type person who would say it as it was rather than the spineless pups we have had since. I would happily like to bury bLAIR at the same time, even if he hasn't died before then.

Politics shouldn't always just be about trying to please those with the loudest voice but sometimes doing whats needed / best

    Vote BlackHornet :D:D:D:D:D

However you feel about her, she had more balls than a lot of blokes I know. Stood by her convictions, unlike the lilly livered arsewipe (he is still breathing I CAN be negative, so ner) who spews verbal crap these days.

I've discussed her too much over the last few days to want to get into much of an argument here too, but she started with almost full employment and it is partly down to her policies that millions ended up unemployed and in poverty. The financial crisis we suffered recently owes much to her relying on the financial sector she deregulated (and North sea oil, and selling off everything she could) to keep her government afloat while she helped destroy manufacturing.
