De-catting

Well I've tolerated this 6kg lump of steel and catalytic converter for long enough. Today I removed it and tried a straight through pipe for a laugh and to check 2 into 1 outlet dimension.
Here's the outlet complete with lambda sensor;

and, for a laugh, a video of the 48mm pipe without silencing. Double click on piccy.

Need to order 2" perforated tube, silencing material, outer tube and inlet cone, then I can get some more work done.

 

Or just get a dog.

 

De-catting..... Is that the new word for 'spaying' / lopping off the dangly bits by any chance..... No?

 

Mind you, the look of that lambda penetrating deep within the oraficial quasm looks as tho' it could well do with a spaying......
Is that the silencial cervix of your orafice right up there at the end??
