Is it just me or are his lines not very good? Couple of corners I thought he was going to be taken out by oncoming traffic.

lines might not be great, and speedo in kph rather than mph but i bet he has a cracking smile across his face :D at the end of the day all that matters is getting home in one piece and grinning ear to ear

Always the problem of perspective on bar / tank mounted cams is the height of them. Watching a lot of my footage looks a bit hairy coming into bends centrelining or across the line but the fixed position of the cam doesn't give you the riders observation and better view.

    Nice clear video that.

I thought the lines were pretty damn good for the road. Could've taken the white van at 2:28 on the bend?;)

Agree with Skortch....wrong view to get the riders eyelinne and vision so hard to say but he does hit most of the apexes and if he was on an empty road i estimate he is near bang on

Lovely bit of road with a talented rider! My only worry would be how he ground out the bike in a few of the corners... so much so that it threw the balance off. Losing rear end traction because your tyre isn't in contact with the tarmac is never a good idea. Still, it didn't seem to do him any harm... and I hope it stays that way.

Ah, makes sense. I do miss the sound of the old triple though.

Yes, I saw your posts about selling yours. Silly man. What nonsense.

I watched it again full screen, tbh it is not a bad bit of riding, though still mad, pretty well any place if he lost it he was pretty well a gonna, I thought it was quite impressive how hard he came out of some of the corners in 3rd as well, still leaning right over.

Great riding - if not a little reckless in parts - sounds like it has a quickshifter.

With my detective skills :giggle: I set myself the task of working out where the road is:-

    route.jpg

It is out of Marseilles on the D908 to Peypin - the place he stops is Le Terme. Bit far for a Sunday morning rideout !

Oh god. I was getting really worried it was in miles and even googled the conversion and thought to self - never gonna get my bike that fast (140miles = 225kms)!!

If you search for other videos by him there is one where he is chasing two mates on R6s up the same hill - the R6 riders are pretty much getting their knees down and yet the engine note on the Triple tells me he was being held up by them if you compare to the first video.

Looking at those videos - the summer can't come any faster for me :)
