    When I did my Bikesafe course there was an interesting section on drivers pulling out of junctions on you. One of the tips was that if you saw someone waiting at a junction and weren't sure they had seen you, to weave the bike a couple of times. This movement will draw their eyes to you when they may have been looking beyond you initially.
    I have used this quite often and it does seem to help, a couple of times drivers inching out will brake having seen the movement of my bike. I spent 10 months riding in Thailand after the course, the driving there is hairy to say the least, and I am convinced some of what I learnt that day kept me in one piece over there!

    the movement laterally acroos the road when approaching junctions is something i picked up form a couple of mates who ride for the MET police ...along with constantly looking UP as far as you can see and scanning back ...you will be amazed at how much you prempt others actions when doing so and by acting accordingly to what you see certainly seems to result in less heart stopping moments.

    well i might take his advice and fit some flashing led lights to the front of my bike, and use bright colours so maybe blue and red will work :D and then something to counter a car drivers stero maybe some kind of siren :cop::cop: :lol2:
